It is our mission to provide a peaceful, comfortable setting to offer professional, complementary health options to the general public.
The Holistic Practitioners Forum is back, after a break for the summer! This monthly group is open to any holistic health practitioner who wants to talk with practitioners in their own and other modalities. The purposes are: skill-building, sharing information and experiences, and discovering methods to develop ourselves and support each other.
This month: Working with Physical and Psychological Trauma
Pain, anxiety, and other experiences associated with psychological and physical trauma can be understood as bottom-up, top-down, or holistically. Bring your thoughts, experience, expertise, and questions to a roundtable conversation about “Working with Physical and Psychological Trauma.” What can your work in particular or your modality in general contribute to understanding the varied sources and nature of trauma? how clients experience trauma? ways to resolve physical and psychological trauma? What uncertainties or reactions do you have when interacting with clients? What are important cautions when working with clients? Would you like to share an example of successful or unsuccessful work? Would you like feedback about a specific client or situation? Do you have a specific question? Or are you just curious?
The cost is $5.00 to cover expenses. Please RSVP to Paula Derry at paula.derry@gmail.com · 443-610-9881
Held at Ruscombe Mansion Community Health Center, Hill House, 4801 Yellowwood Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21209
