In a world that can seem increasingly overwhelming at times, being able to find your own center can help you gain clarity about what you want and need in your life. It can also help you be more compassionate in the way you treat yourself, and toward others. In this two hour experiential workshop, learn about the benefits of both mindful communication as well as journaling, and try a few different exercise to help you experience these benefits yourself. No experience in writing, journaling or meditation are necessary. Bring a notebook or journal, or laptop, and something to write with. Cost: $35.00
Led by Pam McFarland, owner of Dragonfly Creative, LLC. Pam is a certified therapeutic writing facilitator who has led workshops with a variety of groups, from women in recovery from substance use disorders to church groups, to homeless women.
