Most Ruscombe Practitioners have now returned to 0n-site client visits as Maryland’s pandemic restrictions ease. Please contact your individual Practitioner for more information.
There are a number of changes at Ruscombe which will remain in place for the duration of the pandemic emergency period.
We have made some adjustments in protocol to maintain maximum safety for our staff, clients and community. We contract for thorough cleaning and sanitation services, and have added hand sanitation stations throughout the buildings. Masks are required in shared areas (exceptions for medical conditions and small children), and we maintain 6′ physical spacing. Your Practitioner may ask you to wait in your car until you are called to the treatment office. Your Practitioner may take your temperature, and will be following strict protocols to prevent transmission of any infectious illness.
We are now planning for the safe reopening of indoor classes, meetings and rentals (maintaining social spacing), as well as take-out co-op Café. Stay tuned for good news!
Working with State guidelines and CDC recommendations, we are cautiously optimistic. We must keep in mind that the pandemic is not fully controlled and not everyone is vaccinated. Some individuals at Ruscombe may remain Covid-vulnerable due to age or medical condition, and we must remain mindful of our responsibilities. Fortunately, our approach to individualized health care at Ruscombe has always emphasized highly individualized treatment and respect for others.
