Embodied Comedy: Improv for the Nervous System

Embodied
Comedy is a 4 week experiential course that uses the tools of improv, nervous system theory and sacred theater somatics to help participants deepen their capacity for presence, increase their embodied confidence and develop a more responsive relationship with their nervous systems.
Through a series of playful exercises, group practices, and guided reflection, participants learn how to notice their internal states, shift out of stuck patterns, and access greater creativity, confidence, and connection.
Over the 4 weeks, participants build a personalized toolkit of somatic practices they can use in everyday life to regulate their nervous systems, return to the present moment, and move through challenges with greater ease. The course is designed to cultivate psychological safety while gently expanding each person’s capacity for expression, risk-taking, and authentic participation.
No improv or performance experience is required. The only prerequisite is a willingness to show up, be present, and explore through play.
